ShootScreen

Sometimes you just need to take a fast screen shot. This simple first version allows you to quickly save that screen shot.

You can configure it to delay an amount of seconds before taking the screen shot, so you can prepare the screen or window.

You can also configure it to take the shot at the full screen or just the active window in the desktop.

Fun fact: This screen shot was actually taken using ShootScreen

Why to write this program?

I was working on some articles related to my Professional Ribbon Project and I just got tired of using heavy programs (heavy on memory and performance), and I decided to write a simple light weight program to save those screenshots.

Once written, I saw that program should do something more, so here's my list of:

Bravo Very neat tool: so simple. Bravo! Btw, I could only find one problem with your software: there is a typo in the installer... the apop is called SootScreen :-) That is really a big issue!

Shootscreen features Nice. Any word on a new release? It would be nice to have: Cropping / Resizing the image, Drawing functions, and be able to capture a region too with a nice zoom feature to make selecting the region easy.
